ITALIAN FULL IMMERSION

Thanks to our extensive, multi-layered experiences in the field of “linguistic tourism”, we are well positioned to offer lessons directly to individuals and to groups, on location, wherever you are staying. Language classes are conducted by university graduates who are qualified Italian language teachers and who are experts in teaching Italian as a foreign language, as part of our Discovering Italian Language ( DIL ) residential study programmes.

The Discovering Italian Language programmes employ a teaching methodology based on the most recent approaches to language acquisition. This methodology allows for the immediate development of interactive communication in the new language. The strength of Discovering Italian Language teaching is in the careful elaboration of a schedule totally 'made to measure', created exclusively with regard to the requirements and objectives of our customers.

Italian Full Immersion – Vivi l’Umbria!

For individuals, a couple or small groups

This is a special programme devised for those who want to learn or to improve their Italian language in a short, intense time period. It is typically run for 5½ hours each day, from Monday to Saturday, and includes breakfast and lunch with the teacher as part of the lesson plan. With this intensive course it is also possible to integrate the language teaching programme with additional activities or excursions such as wine and food tasting, always under the careful guidance of the teacher or, with a companion/interpreter (in English or other language by request).

The lessons are carried out on location, in the most sympathetic environment, immersed in the green Umbrian countryside, with the express aim of creating, at once, a relaxing and stimulating atmosphere. Teachers are chosen carefully for professionalism and understanding and will accompany customers throughout their particular course.
