Would you like learning Italian language in a relaxing atmosphere, walking in the vineyards and tasting great food?
Thanks to my experience as Italian Language teacher and food&wine guide, we offer a new amazing Italian full-immersion course, a very special one-to-one language course, totally “made to measure”, created exclusively with regard to your requirements and your objectives.
The language teaching programme is now integrated with additional activities or excursions such as wine and food tasting, always under the careful guidance of your teacher.

My Curriculum
- 1998 I earned a degree in Foreign Language and Literature at the University of Perugia, - summa cum laude - with a specialization on teaching Italian as a foreign language
- 1998-1999 I taught Italian Language and Culture at the University of Szeged, in Hungary
- 1999-2005 I worked first as a language teacher, then as Italian Language Course Director in a language school in Umbria
- 2006 I founded my company: Discovering Umbria
LANGUAGE&FOOD CULTURE FULL IMMERSION COURSE
Available from Beginner to Advanced students!
- 16 hours of formal one-to-one tuition
- Text book and extra teaching material
- 2 lunches with your teacher at in a typical trattoria
- Tasting, lunches and visits to the Regional Wine Centre, wineries, oil mills and farms where you have the opportunity to meet and to talk to local people, under the guidance of your teacher for a REAL FULL IMMERSION EXPERIENCE
- Pick up to and from Orvieto or Terni Railway station
- 7 nights in your own apartment in the historical centre of Todi, few metres from the main monuments and shops
- Italian breakfast at a traditional pastry shop 10 mt from the apartment.
PROGRAMME
- DAY 1
Arrival in Terni or in Orvieto Railway Station.
Pick up and transfer to the apartment in the historical centre of Todi.
Meeting up with your teacher. Overnight stay. - DAY 2

10.00-12.00 Language lesson
12.00-13.30 Walking in Todi - Conversation
13.30-14.30 Lunch in a typical trattoria with your teacher
Free afternoon and overnight stay - DAY 3

8.30-10.30 Language lesson
10.30 Departure for a family-run winery in the countryside 8 km from Todi.
Visit and wine tasting. Back to Todi. Free time. Free afternoon and overnight stay - DAY 4

Departure for the full day excursion “On the Sagrantino Road” for a visit to a family-run oil mill and winery. Oil and wine tasting. Back to Todi and overnight stay. - DAY 6

Departure for Orvieto. Arrival in Orvieto historical centre. Visit to the Regional Wine Centre and professional wine tasting. Short visit to the historical centre. Back Todi. Overnight stay. - DAY 7

Departure for a farm and visit to the attached museum dedicated in particular to the “peasant” life of the past centuries. Light lunch with the farm’s owners. After lunch departure for “The Pompei of Umbria”, ancient Roman city situated in the countryside. Visit to the museum and the ruins. Back to Todi, free time and overnight stay. - DAY 8
Breakfast at a pastry shop 10 mt from the apartment. Departure for Terni or Orvieto Railway Station.
