1 HALF DAY COOKING WORKSHOP
Our cooking courses are designed those who are simply passionate about good food and eating well and they are conducted by local cooks.
They are based on the preparation of typical Umbrian menus and may also include making fresh pasta, pizza and traditional Italian dishes. The menus are constituted from the different courses and are always accompanied exclusively by local or regional wines. Each class includes a meal or tasting of the dishes prepared during the lesson. Courses may be arranged for individuals, for two people or a small group and may be requested at any time.
As part of our food&wine programme we can also arrange visits, accompanied by your local guides Alessandra and Leonardo to the markets and the local producers where you may purchase typical Umbrian specialties at a fair cost.

Our cooking workshops run all year round and they are available starting from just 1 participant, to small groups of max 8 people.
PASTA FRESCA - Home-made pasta
- 4 hours workshop – level: easy
- Menu:
- Tagliatelle with meat ragout Umbrian style
- Ravioli ricotta and spinach with butter and sage
- Umbrichelli (typical Umbrian spaghetti) or Tagliatelle with Umbrian sausage, mushrooms and tomato

PIZZA&PANE - Pizza and bread
- 4 hours workshop – level: easy
- Menu:
- Traditional Umbrian bread and/or flat bread
- 4 different kind of “schiacciata” (Umbrian pizza).

ZUPPE - Umbrian soups
(with different legumes according to the Season)
- 3 hours workshop – level: easy
- Menu:
- Spelt salad
- Chickpeas and porcini mushrooms
- Umbrian lentils soup
- Pasta and beans

LA CACCIAGIONE - The game (wild boar & co.)
- 4 hours workshop – level: medium
- Menu1:
- Wild boar ragout with home-made tagliatelle
- Wild boar stew and vegetables of the season
- Menu2:
- Deer “carpaccio” (fined sliced beef with oil and lemon)
- Fallow-deer stew with potatoes and tomatoes
- Potatoes and porcini mushrooms
- Menu1:
- “Pappardelle” (a kind of tagliatelle) with hare souce
- Wild boar “straccetti” (fined sliced wild boar meat)
- Umbrian traditional paté
- Roast radicchio and eggplants
