Get to know more on Terrawine Festival
Umbria is famous not only for its stunning beauty of its historic towns, villages and landscape, but also for the fruits of a land that, even if very tiny, it is able to produce outstanding DOC wines and Extra Virgin Olive Oils. Italian excellencies, born in a territory rich in history, art and culture: main threads in Terrawine Festival, an event at its second edition this year, whose goal is to become more and more a container for exchanges and incentives between operators and public, in the name of cultural dynamism, wine, local gastronomy and quality artistic contents.
Terrawine Festival, directed by Simona Geri and Salvatore Alfieri, will be held at Palazzo del Capitano del Popolo in Orvieto on June 21 and 22, 2020, but it will be revealed in advance during the prestigious Winter Edition Champagne & Sparkling Wine on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December 2019 in Todi, followed by two event previews in Rome (February 6, 2020) and Milan (April 2 2020).
Waiting for the big event in Orvieto in 2020, now the appointment is on Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December 2019 in Todi, where the visitors will have the opportunity to taste prestigious champagnes, Italian sparkling wines and a selection of great red wines.
The beautiful Sala delle Pietre at Palazzo del Popolo (Piazza del Popolo) will be also the meeting place to get in contact with producers, distributors, importers and professionals, through studies on vineyards and territories, masterclasses and wine tastings.
